She joined Socioscope Research Center in November 2025. Her research interests include visual arts, archival studies, social and political processes, as well as media and gender studies.

Agapi Ivanyan graduated from the Armenian State University of Economics in 2000. In 2004, she earned her master’s degree in business administration at the American University of Armenia. She has experience in accounting and human resources management. Agapi has been working at Socioscope as an administrative assistant since 2018.

Mariam Khalatyan graduated from Yerevan State University with a master’s degree in Sociological Research Methodology. Mariam has been involved in Socioscope’s activities since 2016. From 2017 she has joint the team as project assistant.Professional interests include migration processes and issues in Armenia, current issues of civil society, issues of sexuality in medieval Armenia.
In 2018 Mariam has attended courses of “Art Criticism and Curatorial Studies School” at the Institute of Contemporary Art as a listener.

Siran Hovhannisyan is a specialist in philanthropy, gender studies, and social research, with over ten years of practical and academic experience in philanthropy, gender justice, and public policy. Her work is based on intersectional analytical approaches, and her research interests focus on philanthropy, resource allocation and power dynamics, civil society, and the study of women’s real-life experiences.

The main scope of her professional interests is civic movements and contentious politics in Armenia, the history of local social science, the interrelations of local literature and social science, and the issues of sexuality. She has been studying the media discourses on human rights, civic movements and political ideologies for many years.
